Songs of Solomon: Music of the Jewish Diaspora

Come enjoy an afternoon showcasing the rich musical heritage of the Jewish Baroque liturgy. Showcasing 18th century vocal works sung in Hebrew, this concert will highlight rarely performed pieces and the beauty of the Hebrew text.

Learn about the Sephardic Jews in Amsterdam and the history around the composers before you hear the music! A lecture will precede the concert at 3 PM.
